Who is your team? Until I moved to the south I would have answered this question with a casual nod to a NFL or MLB team. But on moving here, I was forced into a decision. I had to pick a side. If I didn’t, I would be considered an outsider, forever. But once I picked, people rooted for or against me. And to be honest it’s been a lot of fun.
However, the problem with picking a team is that we end up making ‘enemies’. We all have others who we consider ‘those people’. How we think about and what we do with our enemies says much about us. Jesus tells us a story about them in Luke 10. I want to encourage you to not only read through this story but also to think about its context. In it, we find a sharp confrontation. This Sunday we
