Renowned for its valleys, mountains, sheep, rugby, poets, and beautiful rugged coastline, the country of Wales, forming part of the United Kingdom, is home also to some of the finest voices produced in the UK, with the sublime harmony of even an amateur Welsh choir hard to beat. Quite a feat from a population little larger than an average city.

So it's fitting that to celebrate St. David, the patron saint of Cymru (using the Welsh language country name), with some songs from fantastic Welsh voices, some well known, others a little less so but still as pleasing to the ear, with a twist or two thrown in ;-)
