As Pastor Chad begins a short new series in the book of Habakkuk, we see that Habakkuk raises two questions. The first is; “God, why? Why the violence? What is wrong with the world?” The second question is; “God, are you still in charge? Why do you not speak to us?” If God exists, why do the wicked often prosper? This is a question commonly asked by those who are sensitive to social justice. The prophet Habakkuk was quite sympathetic to such concerns.
