In a culture where death has been mostly brushed under the surface- to allow for the illusion of progress- it has become a detriment to we humans who actually live in a world of cycles. Death is a natural part of life and it can be worked with as our greatest ally for living our lives more fully and purposefully.
When we allow space to grieve that which we must inevitably let go of- we also create space to celebrate, and give praise for all that has given us the opportunity to feel most alive and what matters most; for we would not grieve that which we do not love.
"Grief and love are sisters, woven together from the beginning. Their kinship reminds us that there is no love that does not contain loss and no loss that is not a reminder of the love we carry for what we once held close." ~ Francis Weller
