This is the mix from a LIVE Ecstatic Dance session in NJ. What a delight it was to be with people, outdoors, on the earth, under the stars, by the fire- dancing our hearts out as the season shifts and a new cycle begins! When I came here to NJ a few months ago after my father's death- I couldn't imagine dancing with others let alone sharing some tunes for others to dance to. I must say it certainly gave me a boost and reminded me that no matter where in the world I am- family and friends are everywhere...for in the dance...we all belong.
This dance was in honor of the Autumnal equinox- and the Jewish New Year- Nature ALWAYS gives us an opportunity to start again..we just have to choose to let the old fall away and allow the new to emerge through each of us.
