The sixth episode features the legendary Brooklyn based crew Science Of Sound from the Tribe Called Quest-sphere. Peter Chan, Tike-O & Beetle will talk about their album production progress and cameos with Ali Shaheed Muhammad, Q-Tip, Phife Dawg, Godfather Don, Grandmaster Melle Mel and more.
Next stop on our journey is Grand Rapids, MI. We present you the indie group The Realist alias Vito, Freeze, Mean Mark, Trent & DJ Shonski and we will look back to their formation, tragedies, and self-discovery in the early 90’s.
The last 20 minutes belong to DJ Skeli. We want to feature more and more DJs from our community to show support and Skeli will start this only vinyl guest mix series!

100 minutes of 100% powerful underground vibes! PEACE & stay healthy!
Where can I find the tracklist?
Yes!!!
Now, that last joint from The Realist is mad dope. Since it was 1997. I don't quite understand why they couldn't find any label. I think that Puffy/MTV/RnB-ish didn't take that much influence yet.
Year of 1998. was the year crisis for hip hop really was quite noticeable, in my opinion.
Btw, that C4 in blended was nice. Haven't heard that joint in a long time.
Mad show, big ups from Belgrade!
P.S
Skeli kills it. Just found out about No MTV Raps two weeks ago..
Thanks, C!
Dope show, big ups to DJ Skeli! I missed part of the interview and Mixcloud won't let me replay, what did SOS say about the Godfather Don connection? Did he produce that Who Got the Funk track for them?
Listen from the beginning and you can't skip backward but forward...
Thanks for you lovely props!!
