She gives us a fascinating insider account into the of the founding of Factory Records, and its eventual implosion, the birth of the seventies Punk scene, led by an unfailingly energetic Tony Wilson, the building of the Hacienda club, and the legendary excesses of Madchester scene. This is the tale of a deeply-felt, turbulent, yet ultimately life-long enduring relationship between two people, set at the heart of a vibrant, rapidly evolving music scene that would put Manchester on the cultural map forever!
