If I Were A DJ On The Beach At First Light Festival

If I Were A DJ On The Beach At First Light Festival

Playing tracks by

Lovebirds, Lucas Arruda, Eddie Russ, Cotonete, Tanya Saint-Val and more.

Chart positions

This show was 87th in the global jazz chart and 88th in the global funk chart.

Mid-Summer in 2019, Hemingway Design co-founded a festival called First Light in Lowestoft, Suffolk. Everything went right, it was just absolutely perfect - about 40,000 people turned up. It was a free festival with the main part of it being on the beach. It was one of the first of its kind in the UK. The sun shone and it stayed mild throughout the night. We set up a cobbled together beach bar with a decent sound system. If I were a DJ at First Light in 2020, this is the kind of set I'd play this afternoon.
