HeavySoulBrutha's Brain Placement

SoulSistas And SoulBruthas! "Brain Placement" is loosely inspired by the two collaborations, "Brainfreeze" and "Product Placement" from DJ Shadow & Cut Chemist. A few years back I saw the video of those cats spinning 45's and it really sparked my current obsession with digging for those two song gems. So, this is an ALL 45rpm mix. Pretty much all of these records I got from my local shop in the 25 cent bin and a few have that warm poppy and crackly feel of well played records. It's got a few funky cuts and a big load of sweet soul. I originally put this one together to celebrate getting to 20,000 visitors over at heavysoulbrutha dot com.
