SoulSistas And SoulBruthas! I hit on the opening cut of Grant Green's superb cover of Kool And The Gang's "Let The Music Take Your Mind" from Grant's "Live At The Lighthouse" album the other day. It's funny how inspiration for mixes creep into my dome, but there it was immediately. How about a selection of Jazz cats doing covers of Soul jams? Perhaps not that original. There's probably a few comps out there already, but here's mine. Had great fun putting it together. Some pretty stellar interpretations of some classic tunes. I hope you DIG IT!!!
