According to the Pew Research Center, 77% of Americans own smartphones. These handy devices can do almost anything; users can unlock their phones with a thumbprint or send hilarious photos using face filters, for example. But when you realize that your phone is analyzing your fingerprint or the shape of your face, it kind of makes you wonder...are smartphones safe?
