A round up of the vinyl we've bought to play at Great Big Kiss over the last few months. This month is a Kent Records special, drawing on songs that have featured on some of their legendary singles and compilations. We kick off with the incomparable Luther Ingram, whose "Oh Baby Don't You Weep" heads straight for the hips, and keep up the tempo with upbeat dancers from Roy Brown, Benny Gordon and Rosco Robinson, sublime northern soul by The Crampton Sisters and Patti Austin, fuzzed up garage rock courtesy of The Moving Sidewalks, and latin instrumental joy from - who else? - The Young Holt Trio. As usual, all soulful and sixties life is here, dancing up a storm.
