Thanks Dr Jazz ! yeah Johnny Hartman... I first heard that recording in London at Ray's Jazz Shop. I had walked in during one of Trane's solos and was thinking that's very restrained......then suddenly the singing started and I thought "what the &$%& is this ??" and i stayed in the store for about 5 songs. Such a great recording... and It's the same band that recorded A Love Supreme.
