The idea of ‘public relations’ to most will conjure up notions of spin, lies and salesmanship but it should be clear that it has a symbiotic relationship with all forms of media. Not only does PR help shape what we see, hear and read, it’s also a hugely profitable industry which commands big money for a very good reason. John Morrison has been on both sides of the PR machine, working for the BBC for an extended period before starting his own PR Consultancy.
