Here's my DJ set recorded live at Dance 88/89 at Victoria Warehouse Manchester on Sunday 27th March. It was the launch night of the new weekly Dance 88/89 night at Sankeys in Ibiza where I'll be DJing on ten Wednesdays over the summer. The theme of this new night is to play tunes that were big in 1988 and 1989, the original seminal summers of love that lead to the 1990s dance explosion. It's been immense fun digging out the tunes that I'll be featuring over the summer in Ibiza and this live set is just a taster of what's to come (although I've just realised that "Feels So Right" by Solution is actually from the early 1990s and I accidentally played Raven Maize's version of "The Real Life" from the late 1990s instead of the original Corporation Of One version).

I hope you enjoy this live DJ mix and if you'd like to come along to one of the Dance 88/89 nights at Sankeys in Ibiza this summer, you can get full details of when I'm playing from

Oh man! that old school piano sound. Love it!

Wonderful through back to the 80's. I was lucky enough to have grown up in Nottingham and go to the Garage when Graeme was playing. It really was a very special place with the 'other' dance floor playing completely different music. Once of my favorite memories is GP mixing Beasties Hold it Now with Sweet Tee's Its my beat. Would so love to hear that again. You used to be able to buy tapes of the night and I had a couple but buggered if I know what happened to them. BTW Selectadisc , the record shop GP worked in was my music education run by people who just loved music.
