The Last Mixorcist

Playing tracks by

Cut Copy, Kid606, Riton, The sneekers, Shadow Dancer, Surkus Sirkuz and more.

The folk at the Church of Mixcloud have seen fit to employee me to exorcise a few demons currently inhabiting the dimly lit tech house hallways and the dark, dank, deep houses of MC.
Demon type 1) The Vinyl Nostalgia Troll - This sad little character holds on to a happier time when life was simpler. This rancid technophobe preys upon those who embrace change and the future. As Sir Alex Ferguson wisely said 'Nostalgia plays tricks on us'.
NB - There're a lot of guys who play vinyl without feeling the need to impress that on others - Who gives a fuck what you use as long as it sounds good.
Demon type 2) The Bland Basilisk - A creature with no eyes and a bloated stomach filled to the skin with a plethora of chart tech/deep house and regressive thinking. Admittedly the brain has developed relatively late in the evolutionary process, however, it HAS developed so use it yo!
It's a fucking rave mate! Tell your parents you'll be out til 11pm oooooooooh

As Sir Alex Ferguson wisely said 'Nostalgia plays tricks on us'. <-- i am not type 1. although I do not embrace change myself, I understand people who do , i am just to dumb to dig dig digital tools, that's why I am confined to vinyl and one take tapes ;) . .

Human [with Jellylegs]

It wasn't an attack at folk who use vinyl dude - i love vinyl. It was just myself and a few pals on here cam under criticism for using digi decks. Personally I use and love both methods.

really funny Gaz . . but i just don't dig too much of the digital world . your comment was on te one!! as i had a conversation with GMlab as we put our collab together we talked about the main ingredient of a dj-mix; the only thing that counts is what's coming out of the speakers . i just finished up three the hard way and i had a blast ... favorites on the mix:the q track by them brothers Johnson and breakestra . . now well into this one, doing a little painting outside and drinkling tequila flavoured beers buurrrrp
