Chart positions

This show was 6th in the global deep techno chart, 30th in the global electronica chart, 37th in the global techno chart, 51st in the global deep house chart and 82nd in the global house chart.

This week we've got one of my favourite electronic heads on MC. Mr Monogammee from Toronto, Canada. A set which showcases a maturity and awareness of nuanced sounds pulling on a variety of genres within the world of deep house & deep techno. Featuring tracks from Moodymann, Session Victim, Gesloten Cirkel & Stimming. He's also dropped one of my all time favourite techno tunes with Blawan's "Why they hide their bodies under my garage" banger. Many thanks Daniil, lovely stuff, lovely chap. Go follow him and dip into his back catalogue - lots of tunes to chew on.

Touching mix.

monogammee

Thank you, Attila, much appreciated. It is actually a very heartwarming description as the tunes selected for this set are all in one way or the other very dear to me as they proved a test of time and still delight me to this day, let alone awoke a flurry of the emotion. Thank you for checking this one out! Glad you enjoyed it. Cheers, man!

Loved it guys, this one goes really deep. The atmosphere created was really stunning.

monogammee

Thank you, Hugo, that is such an inspiring comment. As I have mentioned briefly prior, this set is a lot more personal than my typical endeavours and a whole lot more "just the music I love for one reason or another, no holds barred" so having that moment of people resonating with any of the tunes on it makes it a much more personal connection to me. Thank you humbly for your lovely words and very happy you tuning in and enjoying it brother! Cheers.

Nice edge added to the series, Mono! This was nicely done and enjoyed it a lot. Loved your choice of tracks with subtle, emotive intricacies woven in between. There is a nice variety to the sound but there is an obvious and implied balance to the mood you constructed. Nice use of those Trentemoller tracks as I mentioned in a message I sent you. Great addition with this one, Jelly.

monogammee

Thanks, Rob, that's a lovely way to put it, it's no mystery I was going for a whole variety of sound for this one and it's good to hear that the balance still remained. This set, more than the usual, simply reflects the the snapshot of music that resonates with me and in this case, resonated for a while as the selections are all very seasoned tracks of my collection that haven't lost their edge to me to this day. Thanks for listening, glad you enjoyed it and I will happily join you in giving props to Jelly for inviting me to do my take on these unique series of his. Cheers.

Thank you, El Voc, absolutely love these breakdown kind of feedbacks, always amazing to hear what people think viscerally as they listen to sets as it is absolutely a fluctuating journey like you so aptly pointed out (and this one being more so on purpose). I do love Trentemoller, my favourite would be Shades of Marble, goosebump inducing tune every single time. Thank you for tuning in, brother and I am happy to hear you have enjoyed it so much! Cheers.

My pleasure :)
I really like the way you goes in your sets. I try to do same in my mixes and try to describe feelings, moments or some weird fictive scenes. So i think a set gets more personality - maybe sometime you could spend an ear ... would make me very happy :) Your work is very inspiring
