This show was 20th in the global post-punk chart and 40th in the global experimental chart.
ϟ After an intensive period of research, the Fytini HQ in collaboration with ppodd.info bring you the largest online podcast (to our knowledge) of obscure/experimental post-punk (1979-1984) female / girl-fronted gems. We tried to avoid some of the more obvious selections and instead to prioritise smaller marginal projects. We do recognise, however, that no matter how long such a compilation, it can never be exhaustive and inclusive of all material, especially when it goes to such an interesting musical period, so if your band wasnt featured, it probably is that it just hasnt come to our attention (yet :) ϟ
Kudos to the Gunilla website and Club Julie for influence. Image is a re-cut version of the picture appearing on the cover of influential women's bands collection "Making Waves"
