Mark Labberton on Extravagance, Scarcity, and Stewardship

On October 20, 2015, The Fuller Foundation hosted the “Connecting Passion, Calling & Philanthropy” Charitable Giving conference featuring keynote speaker Mark Labberton, President of Fuller Theological Seminary.

Labberton, author of many books including his most recent book Called, explored what the Bible has to say about philanthropy and generosity during his keynote address. He highlighted a tension in our Christian culture today between scarcity and abundance. He reminded us that we serve a God that is abundant with His gifts. We have the opportunity, in fact, we are called to be extravagant in our giving to the Kingdom.
