Ajax the Great was a mythological Greek hero, the son of Telamon and Periboea and King of Salamis. In Homer's Iliad, he is described as a warrior of great stature and colossal frame, the tallest and strongest of all Achaeans, second only to Achilles in skill-at-arms. Upon the death and burial of Patroclus, Ajax and Achilles competed for his armor, and ultimately the Greek council ruled in favor of Achilles. Ajax, unconquered and furious, fell upon his own sword, conquered by his own sorrow.

"AJachs" is a girl from Los Angeles who asked me to give her some music recommendations this past weekend.
