Playing tracks by

Osbourne, Axel bartsch, Ripperton, Ben Klock and Precious System, Voltaeric and more.

One day I sat down in front of Ableton and I bunged in the Lukid remix of Osbourne while checking out the remixes on Spectral Sounds. The just mix spawned from there.

110BPM is the tempo of choice: I remember going down a record shop in Chelmsford where the guy selling records used to pull in some awesome unheard of nuggets. One time he plonked on one record, slapped it down to -2% on the Technics and said “listen to how slowing down just introduces a groove to the track”. It does just that.

So here you go, a proper full on deep house mix with some meaningful tracks in there. Sometimes its dubby, sometimes sad and melancholic, it swings one way to go synthy, then the other way to go funky. A proper decent journey to stick on as the sun gets ready to go down, the light gets that warrrrrm hazy yellow quality to it...

Years on, it hasn't aged. Something to be said about low slung deep house... it is always lovely to crawl into.

In A While / The Voice From Planet Love (Dixon Edit) is great. Love this mix - very deep, very old skool deep, very Tony Humphries quality but WDG style
