When his weight hit 310 pounds, Lawrence Rodriguez knew he had to do something. Lawrence set out to get into better shape. It took him about a year of running, going to the gym and changing his diet to get into a good routine. His wife Cynthia, also a runner, was a constant source of encouragement. By the end of 2008, he weighed 225 pounds (a loss of 85 pounds). His story is an inspiring story and a testimonial that anyone can make the choice to get healthy at any point or weight.
