The need for diversity in the Oscars consideration process has been a hot topic ever since Jada Pinkett-Smith called attention to the matter some weeks ago. Actor, martial artist, stuntman, filmmaker, trainer and fight choreographer Demetrius Angelo has been working tirelessly for many years to bring more diversity to the action genre of film. He is the founder of the Urban Action Showcase and champion of making action films(and in the process all genre of film) more indicative of modern America.
While diversity has come a long way, especially on shows like Agents of Shield, Arrow, Flash, and some others we still have a long way to go.
