2016 is almost over, which is now the universal sign that a new Star Wars film needs to come out. So Christopher Cross and Dylan Schwan aim their sights on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the first standalone film from the franchise. Directed by Gareth Edwards, the film stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Alan Tudyk, Mads Mikkelsen, and Donnie Yen. As well as a ton more people, of course. We talk about the movie's place in the canon, how the future of standalone films could shape up, and the ethical issues of some of the film's decisions.
