While fall puts Berlin into total greyness, curators Vaginal Davis & Daniel Hendrickson choose a sort-of-Bollywood melodrama to get somehow over with the depressive mood. Guru Dutts monumental film is as troubled as the director itself, who died with the age of 39 on an overdose of sleeping pills. The indian cinema has a wide variety and reaches far far beyond 90s Mainstream-Bollywood. Daniel Hendrickson tells more about it - after Miss Davis reveals Mr. Hendricksons questionable relationship to his bird Domingo.
