This is the second podcast in the series of guest contributors and we feel really privileged to have a brilliant cassette from Selector Dub Narcotic (Calvin Johnson) to share with you.

Side A - Selector Dub Narcotic Presents: Where Monsters Dwell – Snakes on a Plane

"A collection of recentish 45s released by various independent labels from around, mostly the U.S., since that is where the punk music still speaks in new languages. Multiple offerings from our K label here in Olympia, Washington. Several (Karl Blau,Christmas, Bobby Birdman, Chain & the Gang) are part of our Dub Narcotic Disco Plate series which feature a remix on the flipside by Selector Dub Narcotic (that’s me!).“Snakes on a Plane” is a version of the Chain & the Gang song “Cry, Cry, Cry”, which is itself a version of “Chain Gang Theme (I See Progress)” from their debut album Down with Liberty...Up with Chains![KLP203]. All of the K releases on this cast were recorded at our Dub Narcotic Studio. Excitement."
