This is Dia Das Bruxas, translated as "day of the witches," the Brazilian version of Halloween.
The rhythms of Samba & Bossa Nova are all present (along with some Brazilian Post-Punk, Modern Rock and No Wave for good measure), but don't expect lyrics about sunny beaches & gentle saudade here. Rather, these are songs about occult rituals, werewolves and disembodied spirits, as well as wild nightmares, the witching hour and a passionate love affair with Dracula (seriously--see track #3).
