Today on Faith Transitions we welcome Jennifer. A self-described evangelical Christian, “daughter of a pastor” who realized that her study of Mormonism became a vicarious outlet for objective examination of her own claims to truth. Jennifer started to look at her own beliefs and scriptures more carefully and "skeptically" as she would put it in a, “positive sense of skeptical, not cynical” as she felt that it was only fair to examine her own faith from this critical perspective. She says that, “Mormon counter-evangelism has forced me to put my own beliefs to the same level of scrutiny.”
Jennifer is also a contributing staff member of Faith Beyond Belief. An organization of believers engaged in Christian apologetics.
Happy and safe holidays all! One more transition story coming before the 1st of January. Then expect at least two more in January (on the 1st and 15th per usual).
