It's a given that you know Flux Pavilion's destructive 'Bass Cannon' as well as 'I Can't Stop', the 2010 smash that thrust him into the limelight as one of the dubstep scene's loudest, rowdiest producers.
Add to that the small matter of 'I Can't Stop' being sampled on Jay Z and Kanye West's 'Who Gon' Stop Me' and Joshua Steele found his bass-driven sound appealing to teens across North America, so much so that his shows across the Atlantic have attracted bigger crowds than in the UK and his upcoming 32-city tour across the US exemplifies Flux's status.
Co-founder of Circus Records, along with longtime friend Doctor P, Flux has been responsible for releasing material by label Cookie Monsta and FuntCase and spearheading the 'filthy' sound of dubstep. As the Circus crew gradually made their way further into the mainstream, the Flux made the move to team up with Example on 'Daydreamer' and then Mad Decent big dogs Major Lazer for the dancehall-tinged 'Jah No Partial'.
