Girlname is an Australian DJ, producer and cultural activist currently residing in Perth. You can usually catch her at any regular night around her hometown playing for heavy weight parties like Clubb Medd, Perfect Strangers, Outer Body, Garbage TV, m.o.v.e, Good Company Records and Homopolitan, as well as performing at niche W.A festival Camp Doogs on two consecutive occasions in 2017 and 2019.
She has played support for many inspiring, visiting artists including Peanut Butter Wolf, Tim Sweeney, Tornado Wallace, Ross from Friends, Subjoi, Bellaire, Errol Tout, Toni Yotzi and Mulatu Astatke.
She presents on famed local community station, RTRFM 92.1 on a weekly 3 hr radio show Out to Lunch, which features the newest released music from Western Australia and around the world. She has interviewed some of the most sought after DJs and musicians including Tourist Kid, Michael Ozone, Sakidasumi, Allysha Joy, Rush Wepiha, Super Ego, Feels, Hyclass, Lana Rothnie, Julia Jacklin and Moxie.
