Eclectik's 80 Minutes of Funk/Soul/Motown Mix - Volume 1

An 80 minute mix of some of my fave funk, soul, & motown tracks. This is a showcase of many of my signature mixes spanning the last 20 years of my dj career. It was recorded on 2 Tech 12 turntables & an S9 Mixer. I used effects like echos, reverbs, LP/HP sweep filters etc, as well as some old school analogue dj tricks like scratches, brake stops, backspins, and 'back-to-back' to make for some funky transitions.

For source material, I've included a mix of original tracks but also many dj 'edits' and beefed up beats to give this mix some extra bounce. Early in the mix these beats are mostly Hip Hop, and later in the mix I get more experimental with some funky breakbeats etc.
