Bill Adler - Funk, Soul & The Wild West

Playing tracks by

Webb Pierce, Ella Fitzgerald and Sy Oliver, Urbie Green and His All-Stars, Byron Lee and the Dragonaires, Bobby Bland and more.

Here is a cool eclectic mix, that magically mashes Country music with black Soul and Funk and some Hip Hop. Did we mention Def Jam?

Cooking grooves on a hot day. Nice stuff here, Bill. Bobby Bland and Charles Wright cut it up real nice.
