The most incredible, incendiary, inspiring, transcendent show I've ever seen. Beautiful and moving, start to finish. Unbelievable.
I'm amazed that this show was recorded and preserved here—for years I tried to find a recording of it. It's the most transcendent, extraordinary musical experience I've ever been a part of.
I drove down from Burlington, VT (and met Bob at WRUV before he played Burlington's Memorial Auditorium—a difficult room, to say the least... boomy and smeary) The Music Inn was my favorite venue of all time— I saw incredible shows there as a teenager, and I couldn't miss this one. It was perfect, start to finish. I'm grateful to have been there.
stood in front sound board next to taper. I am the one talking to him during show. Bottles yah hear clanging are Miller Long Neck Bottles in a foam cooler which was danced on. Bunch of us came down from Vt. Tossed up a spliff an Bob Lit it up on stage. What a fun night. Right up there in live shows. Goosebumps when I listen some 41 years later. Sun came out when Bob and company took stage. Blue Bus was stopped by NYSP on way up from MSG . Band was late, Stage was set.. Music Inn, is a natural bowl with stage down below. Come dance with me ;-)

Thanks so much for sharing, and giving the chance to all Bob Marley & The Wailers friends and lovers to enjoy this great jewel of concert. The best one I've ever heard of them... so far. It's really very exciting to listen to. One love.
Listen to this almost everyday !
Imagine a sound board recording of this
I worked/lived at Music Inn - I remember this concert, more of a ceremony than a concert. They gave it their all, Bob back was to the audience most of the time, when he turned around his eyes were closed, really meditating on the music. And a whole bunch of rastas showed up right in front in their Sunday best for Bob. It was one of the greatest concerts I've ever attended. Thanks for the opportunity to hear it again after all these years.
So many friends there that day. My ex wouldn't go. Have never forgotten that but forgive him!
time will tell in 46:00 is soo nice ...
