A few years ago I started the Paleo diet myself. I thought it was a great anti-inflammatory diet (it really helped reduce my pain), but I must admit it was a little confusing starting out. A lot of people understand the basics, such as what to stay away from - much less grains, sugars, legumes or dairy. But then I noticed a lot of people were still struggling with making paleo work for them, and they weren't losing the weight that other people were following the same guidelines. Why?! They were following the list of foods to eat but weren't seeing results.
Then I read a fantastic article by Justin Nault from Clovis, LLC who hit the nail on the head. He discovered:
