It's a live DJ set I was commissioned to do back in the summer of 2009 for a party. I tried to make a narrative out of it, starting off fairly laidback, then moving onto some breaks and bleeps to get people dancing, then shifting to faster and harder stuff in the middle, then slowing it down a little by going on to some dubstep and ambient before finishing the set off with a crowd pleaser and a (fictional) computer breaking down slowly. Overall I'm pleased with it, the only part I'm completely unhappy with is the transition from the hip-hop of Gescom and Wu-Tang into the ambient of Lustmord and driftin (me). It's too abrupt. There's loads of movie and television samples in there as well.
Made with (as far as I can remember):
2x Technics turntables
Stanton Final Scratch 2
Final Scratch amp
Boss wah-wah pedal
