With its lush and extensive musical background, tranquil surroundings, and eternal link to The Beatles, this month's mix takes us to the storied Abbey Road, London. Starting things off deep and ethereal, Telefon Tel Aviv and 16B do their duty drawing you in with a classy, lounge based sound. The mix picks up the pace with massive classics from Aloud and Madonna, peaking with Hibernate's 'That High'. The second half begins with Vince Watson's brilliant 'Spores', followed by mesmerizing atmospheric breaks and drum & bass by the likes of Hybrid and Aural Imbalance. Closing with the cinematic tone I am known for, Moby turns up with his grand 'God Moving...', a breathtaking composition that leaves goosebumps every time I play it. - Donald Wilborn, February 2011.
