Playing tracks by
Sample, Burial, Telefon Tel Aviv, Nick Galea & Native, Luke Vibert and more.
Back in 2009 I made a set of mixes that gradually built from electronica right through to 4/4 techno, each a stand alone mix in its own right but the idea was for them to work as one whole mix. I programmed them with electronic music that was working for me at the time and tried to layer in samples from films etc very much in the vein of Unkles "Edit Music For A Film"... as the mixes progress the sample become less but thats purely because the 4/4 stuff is less atmospheric and therefore didn't need that extra layer. They were made before I had "Mixed In Key" but most of the layering and mashing still sounds good. The whole series of mixes received "Mix Of The Week" accolade off of "The Mixing Bowl" so clearly somebody liked them. As always if you would like a D/L link let me know and I will oblige.
