This mix was released in january 2005 when I went on Tour with Canadian rapper Noah23 in Europe. 200 copies have been made and were sold or given away as promos in a simple cd sleeve. It was simply called “III” as it was my third official mix-cd and consisted of 3 parts (these are the first 2 parts put together).
The mix includes some deep, progressive Hip-Hop as well as trips into Psychedelic Rock, mid 80s Hardcore Rap and Turntablism. At parts the music might be too dark for some listeners but up to this day I am still very proud of this mix and I hope you will enjoy it as well!
About 70 percent of the tunes are remixed or blended and I had put quite much work in it back then. More than that it was/is an anti-war mixtape and features several tunes regarding this topic. One of the highlights of this mix might be the blend of Colonel Bagshot’s “Six Day War” (famed through DJ Shadow’s “Six Days”) with my friend Misanthrop’s unreleased instrumental track “Frühling”.
