Great set Randy! Wish I could have been there but hopefully if there is another one, I will make the effort to attend. Loved hearing that awesome Junior Vasquez mix of Elton John's "Original Sin".

What a wonderful set...this is the first time I've heard that Elton track and I was floored, I've missed his voice. - Andrew

DJ Randy Bettis

Hey Andrew...thank you. Yes, I hadn't played that mix (Junior Vasquez) in a while and I've always love the feel of it + how could you not love Elton voice, right? :)

Another GR8 Set, SO HAPPY, 2 hear "Nightmare, PR's Mix by Brainbug" WOW, another GR8 Blast of Memories 2 thumbs Up ? GR8 ? cover of Missing EBTG, Like the beats, she's a bit whiny yet, did't disappoint / Jay

DJ Randy Bettis

Hey Jay...thanks for the response. Yes, the lead vocal on 'Missing' does match up to the warmth of the original, i agree...but I just wanted to find 'classics' that I know the crowd that was going to be at the event would recognize but not play the same original ones. The producers need to layer her voice a little more and a little auto-tuned might not have hurt...not a bad vocalist but just not as lush Tracey Horn's that's for sure!
