This started life many years ago! Originally a crazy mix of many very short beats I created by layering multiple classic funk breaks and samples, it was so much work I only ever managed 10 minutes of it. So when funk producers The Allergies recently asked me to make them a 30 minute guest mix of all my own edits for their podcast, I decided it was time all that effort saw the light of day. I fleshed it out with a lot of longer funk edits from my stash, and even made a few new ones. There's a few funk-sampling Hip Hop remixes in there too. Enjoy!
