In continuation of the LGS 1988 mix we enter the world of Acid house from some of the big commercial tunes to the more underground tracks.
Tyree Cooper, Yazz, S'Express, HitHouse and Todd Terry come together along with defining acid house track Acieed by DMob. Smileys on, hands in the air...feel the acid!
1988 was a year of diversity and marked a time of change. While Stock, Aitken & Waterman still reigned supreme (as featured on LGS 1988- LONG ISLAND ICE TEA MIX). While SAW also embraced the jacking sound of house too, it was Acid House that was changing the sound on the dancefloors and the charts. While jacking house was reaching it’s end of influence, acid was coming out full force, and this sound is featured on LGS 1988 VOL 2- Acid In My Tea Mix (out soon)
