Happy to be launching my Funky Breaks and Bass series which has been on my To Do list for ages. Excited to flex some different musical muscles for a refreshing change. In truth, Breaks are very close to my Heart.
On that note, this series is wholly dedicated to my partner these last four amazing years (yes that's her as a cyborg in the pic!), who has dropped innumerable hints since we met about wanting a proper Breaks mix. For her - and now for you - I am shouting this mix out over the rooftops of the world. Timestamped and Tracklisted as a resource. I was just so happy to be mixing some of my all time favourite breaks tracks. Definitely myself and Marks fun Genre. Great work Aaron 👌🎶

Fabulous set @djaaronjames and your a lucky man with such a patient wife (Paige is it?) waiting on her mix for so many years, 😂 I have a love for breaks too and don't listen to it often enough as a genre so thanks for reigniting my interest! I shall be spinning up some breaks soon too now. Hope lockdown over there in HK is having the desired effect in reducing infections and that you will be all let loose in the wild again if you haven't already been done so.
