The Thunder-ful World of Disney

Playing tracks by

Mark Mothersbaugh, Siddhartha Khosla, Michael Giacchino, John Williams, Mark Mancina and more.

AFOS presents score cues from Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther, The Last Jedi, Coco, the newly-expanded-on-CD Who Framed Roger Rabbit and more. All of the music comes from Disney, which ought to rename itself DisneyfoxmarvellucaspixarwaterhouseCoopers.

Ten of the 11 soundbites throughout this mix were taken from the 1959 Disney educational film Eyes in Outer Space, narrated by Paul Frees. I explain the meaning of each soundbite from Eyes in Outer Space here: goo.gl/PLgCDo

I'm a fan of both Brian K. Vaughan's writing in the Runaways comic from 2003 to 2007 and Siddhartha Khosla's score music in the (surprisingly not-shitty) TV version of Runaways, so the Khosla cues are the portion of the mix I'm most enthusiastic about. When those Runaways score cues were released, I bought them up faster than a female Pixar employee getting away from John Lasseter.
