AFOS presents selections from scores to movies and shows with journalists as protagonists, whether they're serious portrayals of journalism (Spotlight, The Post) or not-so-serious ones (Fletch, Friday Foster).
Thirty-three years after its release on vinyl and cassette, Harold Faltermeyer's Fletch soundtrack finally gets a CD release, thanks to the Varèse Sarabande label.
Chevy Chase is an irredeemable piece of shit whose brain appears to be badly damaged from a combination of Peruvian marching powder, painkillers and ego (Terry Sweeney, Rob Huebel, Jay Chandrasekhar and the cast and crew of Community have plenty to say about him), but I still love the 1985 movie Fletch.
However, Fletch is no Broadcast News. Now that 1987 movie, whose Bill Conti score is also featured in this mix, is my favorite journalism movie of all time.
