"Sintes, Vocoders Y Cajas De Ritmo" (meaning "Synths, Vocoders And Beatboxes") is a collection of tracks that I mixed and edited in August 2008 as an homage to the synthetic funk groove. It spans three decades (1978-2008) of funk and electro colliding together and features as main characters players like slap basses, handclaps, electric keyboards, bubbling synthesizers, vocoders and the talent of hundred of artists throughout an hour of electro boogie funk.
It was all done with two turntables, a mixer, a dub siren, an FX unit, a multitrack recorder and 61 phat pieces of vinyl. And of course tons of love to the original artists.
If you want to get the original mix with complete credits, covers and nicely sliced, contact me.
