Hey, Welcome back!
This is a special mid-week episode for the Apple Event at the Steve Jobs Theater. During the event, Apple announced the Apple Watch Series 3, Apple TV 4K, iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, and the iPhone X (10). Sunny and I glazed over the boring Apple Watch and Apple TV news, but we dove into what the iPhone X means for the company.
Sunny and I both have the same view here: Apple should not have released the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, instead, they should have only released the iPhone X. The edge-to-edge screen, wireless charging, and Face ID is well worth the extra money but only for a small portion of the world who can afford it.
