On this week's show Debbie talks about K9 Angels who provide a much needed network link between dog rescuers in foreign countries and prospective adopters in the UK. She then plays a track by Tiger Lily entitled New Year in which 50% of proceeds go to K9 Angels. Debbie then goes on to talk about potter Barbie Dureau who is using her art as a call for world peace. Debbie shares stories of both individual and collective ways in which you can start enjoying new ways of living and she discusses her own approach to helping people to make step changes to a more sustainable way of living as inclusive as possible. Debbie finishes the show with an interview with Carles Cardelus who has produced and directed a thought provoking documentary which was shown at the UK Film Festival last month and she encourages listeners to reflect on the film's messages.

I am listening to Carles who is very touchy feely. What would have been useful is to understand more about where the Island is, what its all about if you haven't seen or even heard about the film.
I just realised that Socotra refers to the Island, just a thought I must watch the film next
Fair comment Vince, first time I've done an interview about a film which people wouldn't have seen, when you see it for yourself I'd be interesting to hear your thoughts on the best way to present it.
happy new year to you all
