All good things must come to an end. Life very rarely throws up clichés as over worn and as weary as this one but as with all things played to death, it’s done so for a reason. The goodbyes started back in March when the news first veered on the horizon, beginning the mad scramble for tickets as returning festival goers and would be attendees plan for one last pilgrimage to Merseyside to experience the 52nd weekender as it goes out in a blaze of glory May 8-10th.
