Once a young – and massively prodigious – contender to the hard house throne, BK now sits pretty as one of the scene’s effective “elder statesmen”. OK, he’s not particularly old, but given what he’s accomplished since he began doing work experience in a London music studio at the age of 16, he can definitely lay claim to being one of the godfathers of the hard dance scene as we know it.
Then-hard-house-label-du-jour Nukleuz Records took him on as an in-house engineer and during his stay there he created dozens of huge tracks in alarmingly consistent succession. His track Revolution is one of the biggest tracks the hard dance scene has ever spewed forth, and found its way onto the Radio 1 daytime playlist back in 2002 and he has continuously pushed and developed his production style to keep ahead of the rest. He has sold 100s of 1000s of records, and had his name on over 150 releases across the last 13 years.
