Radio KROP 1: Together In Eclectic Dreams

Radio KROP 1: Together In Eclectic Dreams

Playing tracks by

Eric B. & Rakim, Chemical Brothers, Nat King Cole, DJ Brisk vs Rebel Alliance, Guns 'n Roses and more.

THIS IS NOT A MIX. This is a radio(-esque) show, with talking between all the songs. /Lots/ of talking at that.

I don't just listen to the kind of music I play in PORK, and to prove it I've made this show. It's the first in a likely-to-be-erratic series of shows where I pretend, just for a little while, that I'm a cockney John Peel. If anyone wants to indulge me by listening, all the better :-)

[PS bonus points to the first person who notices the deliberate* mistake/lie in one of the talking bits and comments about it on here. _No_ idea what I was thinking.]

Isn't it "where my HEART can rest, yes"?

one of the things I love about Sly Stone is that his voice naturally sounds like it's going thru a wah-wah - it intertwines beatifully with the guitar lines.

Ha! I stopped listening yesterday JUST before GnR finished. As I recall, the Eighties Waffle Wearing Soul Boy look was quite big. In the eighties. Anyway, mum and dad couldn't afford to buy us Farahs.

Cool, entertaining and educational. I did not know about the Rs in the Spanish alphabet. You can Funk on Forever.
